Cardboard Circle - Jar Cushion Pincushion Top

Cut a piece of cardboard the exact size of your jar top. Make a yo-yo, stuff with wool or poly fiberfill . . . place cardboard circle inside and draw yo-yo tightly, tie off. Hot glue to jar lid. Then . . . measure and cut fabric circle . . . measure and sew ribbon around so it will fall on the lid side. (Fold over to start and stop, leaving an opening to run elastic through.) Hem or add lace to edge. Embroider, embellish . . . run elastic through.
