Made with Irish Waxed Linen Thread

Embellished with semi-precious stone chips, beads, 'findings' (birds, fish, stars, moon, zuni bears, etc.)... A perfect way to enjoy your thimble when it is not busy helping you quilt!

BASIC DIRECTIONS

8 spokes @ 12" each
1 - 60" length (fold in half) weaver

Arrange spokes 4 over 4

Twine sets of 4 for 2 rows
Twine sets of 2 for 2 to 3 rows
(Base complete)

Begin sides:
Twine single strands (adding color if desired..
metallic thread, etc.) slip thimble inside as you
twine up in order to customize the pouch to hold
its occupant.

Border:
Behind 1 and down, behind 1 and down, etc., around
and around until you like the look. Tuck ends inside
and press waxed linen thread together.
